Terms of Use

2FA Authenticator SL

2FA Authenticator SL provides local two-factor authentication, password storage, backup, and related security features. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for keeping access to your accounts, recovery codes, backup files, PIN, and backup passwords secure. Before removing an authenticator from another app or service, always verify that the new 2FA code works correctly.

Backups

Encrypted backup files can only be restored with the password used when the backup was created. We cannot recover a forgotten backup password. Keep backup files and their passwords in safe and separate locations.

Account recovery

2FA Authenticator SL cannot restore access to third-party accounts if you lose your authenticator credentials, recovery codes, or other recovery methods. Account recovery is handled by the service where the account exists.

Local data

Authenticator accounts, saved passwords, and app settings are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for creating backups if you want to protect against device loss, damage, or removal of the app.

Availability

The app is provided without a guarantee that every third-party website, application, QR code, or authentication system will be compatible.
